About me
I am a trained food microbiologist turned evaluation coordinator who discovered her passion for data analysis when I was writing my master’s thesis. I have been working for TSU’s CNEP since January 2021 as the evaluation coordinator. During this time, I have helped the SNAP-Ed program adopt PEARS for data collection, storage, and evaluation. I am the project lead for the African diaspora project that plans to reach out to Swahili speaking refugee communities in both Davidson and Shelby counties in TN. Born and raised in Nairobi Kenya, I migrated to the USA in 2017 to pursue a master’s degree in food and animal science at Tennessee State University from which I graduated in May 2020.
